Pokémon Competitions - Friendship and Travel
Competing in Pokémon events since 2018 has been life changing both professorially and personally. The opportunity to travel and compete at the highest level at the World Championships in London and Japan as well as several regionals across Australia and the UK has built the foundation for rivalries, friendships and family.
This experience has also shaped my career path. Witnessing the joy and stories these events create inspired me to explore event planning and management, a field that has become a constant source of passion and drive for me—more than any other industry.
Post - Covid events
COVID-19 hit the event space hard but it was a pleasure to slowly work back several venues into hosting TCG events once again.
The Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh communities pushed forward and returned with even larger numbers than pre-lockdown, and I’ve been thrilled to be a part of that resurgence.
PHILOSOPHYMy philosophy is to take a player-first mindset. Events should be tailored to meet the needs and enhance the enjoyment of the players first and foremost. The experience of Esports and TCG events can be a cornerstone for building communities and relationships, and it is my goal to provide the highest quality experience I possibly can.
